Snorkelling is safe, fun and easy, and it can be enjoyed by all of the family with the minimum amount of equipment and effort. Snorkelling gives you the chance to access a world that is normally not seen by mankind. The wonders of the blue planet and the rich biodiversity of the Red Sea with its crystal clear warm waters and an abundance of corals and fish is a must for anybody visiting Egypt.
With the Orca Dive Clubs it is fun and easy to discover this fascinating world safely. Your local Orca Dive Club will supply you with all the necessary equipment for your comfort. On checking in at the Dive Club you will receive your mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit and snorkelling vest. One of our experienced staff will help you select the properly fitting equipment and then we will depart by boat to explore the fascinating coastline that is the Red Sea.
On arrival at the reef your snorkelling guide will provide you with the information you require to safely explore this wondrous marine environment. Your guide will tell you about important safety procedures and the basic do's and don'ts of interacting in this fragile world. The guide will accompany you in the water showing you the true highlights for your enjoyment.
Snorkelling is a truly amazing activity that can be shared and enjoyed regardless of age, and with our help it will be a fun and fascinating experience. For those of you who want to gain more understanding, enjoyment and efficiency with the sport of snorkelling your Orca Dive Club offers snorkelling training. This one day orientation to snorkelling gives you all the required knowledge to fully explore the blue planet in total safety and comfort. With the many years of experience of the Orca Dive Clubs, you have the perfect partner to help you safely discover this amazing hidden world.
09.00hrs: Our guests check-in on board the boat at the diving centre. If the minimium required number of snorkellers is not met then our snorkelling guests will join one of the spacious dive boats.
09.30hrs: Your snorkelling equipment will be loaded onto the boat by your Orca Team. Ropes off, you will then depart from the jetty to one of the top reefs of the Red Sea, journey time between 30-60mins. During the boat ride you will have ample time to relax, soak up the sun, chat with the other snorkellers, while our friendly crew serve you hot and cold drinks.
10.00hrs: On arrival at the reef you will receive a briefing describing the reef, where you can see the most things, important safey information as well as the entry/exit procedures. You can then take your time to explore and enjoy the wonderful and fascinating beauty of this incredible underwater spectacal. The highly experienced guide is ever at your service to give advice and assistance as well as being responsible for the safety aspects in and out of the water.
11.15hrs: After the first snorkelling experience you will board the boat again where the crew will serve you with tea and coffee. You can now relax in the sun or chat with the others, as lunch is being prepared.
12.00hrs: After a delicious freshly cooked meal you can enjoy a siesta or go for another swim.
14.00hrs: After the siesta the captain will take you to yet another exciting and beautiful reef where after the briefing you can get back into your equipment and enjoy the colours of another amazing Red Sea reef.
15.00hrs: On completion of the second snorkelling session you will have time to enjoy a tea or coffee before the captain sets course for the Orca Dive Club. During the return journey you can relax and laze around on the sun deck or share the days amazing experiences with your fellow snorkellers.
15.30hrs: Back to base! And time for you to catch the transfer bus direct to your hotel and plan your next adventure.
